St. Moritz Merchandise and Give Aways
The prestigious St. Moritz brand were looking for a variety of creative concepts.
The client scope was for a base product line of “merchandise” and “give aways” that did not have to tie into the actual St. Moritz brand strategy.
Given that they had a very basic project scope, as well as a budget constrain, lead me to undertake a shallow audit of the St. Moritz brand and history. This involved a basic level of research that included desktop research, looking at books about the history of St. Moritz as well as some information that the client supplied.
Going through an insight driven process I could boil down the insights to capture relevant St. Moritz characteristics that could be exploited for concepts.
After brainstorming with the Creative Director to come up with a variety of concepts, I created mock-ups that was presented in a booklet. The client decided on a concept we called “Decoder” for further development. They liked the concept so much that they would like to incorporate the idea into a rebrand of St. Moritz that they will do in the near future.
