NUVU Online Advertising Concept
Concept for an online advertising campaign.
The client for this project asked for a concept for an online advertising campaign. This campany had no clear brand core or strategy. I begun by doing a low level brand audit of the company to get an idea of what the company had for a brand core, including their “vision, mission and values”.
After doing research and talking to the client on many occasions, I obtained a good collection of insights to continue with the insight driven process, going through my “discover, decode and digest” stages to reach the “design and decide” stage of my “5D” process.
This is a good project to show the power of the process to get to great concepts. We created many ideas and focused on the ones that had potential to present the client to his customers in an authentic and direct way.
The concept we decided had the most potential was an idea of “No Borders”. The “No Borders” concept came from insights about the personality of the photographer, brand core and the products that Nuvu sold. Fearlessness and being adventurous was a overarching theme. Going to any place on Earth as well as going to any extreme to get the photograph that would best convey the story that needed to be told.
The photographs can be bought and the uniqueness of the product is the fact that the photographs are mounted without any type of frame, giving the pictures a sense of borderlessness, literally and figuratively.
The concept of “No Borders” reflects the personality, photography and products of Nuvu, in a clever, emotional and concise way.
